I mix it up. However, I teach methods and if students understand quickly, I allow them to continue to practice questions to gain fluency. If not, I will show them a different way, usually visual and real-life examples to help students learn.
I am a patient tutor who recognises that everyone has a different learning style, and will model my lessons to fit the pupil. Each lesson will have a small 'warm up' activity based on what subject area the pupil studies.
Hello (potential student!!) my name is Priya Parmar, and I am currently studying English language and literature (BA dual honors) at the University of Lancaster.
I am a patient teacher, I will work with you as long as it takes to help you get to your goals. I take an individual and holistic approach. Looking at the person's needs as a whole and finding their learning style. I believe anyone can get good results if they persevere and together we can get you through, and help you reach your goals.
I can be very traditional in my approach but have a proven track record with students presenting to the Houses of Parliament, European Parliament, Student Conferences as well as presenting their UG academic research projects on BBC radio. I encourage students to read around the subject area, engaging different perspectives before putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboards.
First i will start from basics like BARAKSHRI which is starting stage of Hindi. I will teach any age people. - The first thing that student try to recognize and remember the letter of BARAKSHRI - Second is the learn how to write the letter.
Elicit. Whatever question you have, I do anything and everything possible to get you to answer it yourself. I find that lessons are often more fun when conducted that way. It encourages different ways of thinking, which in turn makes learning more interactive. Answering questions with questions, role playing to help understand the topic at hand, you name it.
I give my first preference to my students. I help them on the Topics they like help on. My approach is usually depended on what the student feels most comfortable with. I am outgoing and ready to adapt to the students needs.
I have taught GCSE Spanish students, young children and adults. My teaching method varies according to the needs of my students and their learning styles, in order to maximize their learning experience. My approach overall is for the student to have an enjoyable, fun experience while benefitting from the learning.
I teach the kids by trying to find a point of interest for them. This way they are engaged more and have a more enjoyable learning experience. This is more likely to get them self motivated and more eager to learn in the future. I like to break things down for children into easily digestible chunks, to avoid them being overwhelmed.
Just starting to play? From your very first lesson you’ll be playing grooves and fills on a full drum kit and building your abilities through the lessons at your own pace along to the music that you like to listen to and aspire to play. We’ll make sure that you’re developing good habits and techniques from day one.
I prefer to teach personally(not online), but can in both categories. I have my teaching method. I based in on my personal experience. The student must be interested in learning. It's the most important thing. The student should know why he teaches and what he teaches. For younger children, study should be presented in a fun and entertaining way.
I will provide lessons for GSCE and A-Level PE/Sport I attempt to foster independence and critical thinking, whilst maintaining a relaxed approach. Different methods of teaching and assessment are used to help keep interest. Requesting feedback is a main part in order to ensure that you are learning from your preferred learning style.
My teaching method is gaining experience through patience and practice. Everybody has the ability to be creative. I encourage students to think outside the box and freewrite. I aim to help to overcome the fear of sharing your work and how to give and receive constructive criticism.
As I am more confident with oral comprehension, I prefer to have an open conversation with my students for them to receive a first hand real-life conversation in Spanish. To put to practice everything they have learnt/are learning on the blackboard, and bring that to actual situations they might find in Spanish speaking environments.
My teaching method begins with me understanding where the pupil is at in maths. I would get to know where their strong points and weak points are in maths and then work on the weak points with them whilst also every now and then testing them on their strong points to make them even better. I hope to make every student of mine confident in their maths skills and improve vastly on their weak points.
I strongly support the fact that every student have a different approach and learning ability. Patience is a must. Reading , Writing and Speaking is the combination of a good understanding of the language. Private classes will be 1.30 hour as many times per week as possible.
I would preferably like to teach GCSE and AS level. I would like to meet my student and determine how they like to learn, for example some children are visual learners so I would build my lessons to accommodate each individual. I like to keep my tutorials relaxed and friendly.
My teaching method and structure is based around the syllabus for each specific subject and I like to focus on exam technique and really understanding the syllabus. I believe that doing questions are the best way to ensure complete understanding once the content of a topic has been learnt.
I will first see how much you already know, then I will see the way you take in new information. I am really friendly so even if you get confused I will explain everything to you again and with your way of thinking in mind. I am able to help with a variety of levels but am limited to in school studies.
I'm a college student wanting to help secondary and primary school students; so my style of teaching is pretty chilled and laid back, I just want to help young adults do better in school without having to travel for extra lessons. I'm fun, easy going and easy to talk to and learn from.
My method of teaching is to understand my students unique need and provide and explain solution to the problem. Every student is different, therefore understanding how they pick up things is really important for me in order to teach them.
My highest level in Applied Science so i am willing to teach those from primary school to the Level 3 criteria. My lessons will be based around what the individual is needing support with and will plan my classes around their needs.
I offer online tutoring aswell to make it more convenient for us. For GCSE students I will look at the exam board and learn a bit about how the student works. For primary and secondary students,I will need a syllabus or some info from you about what they are learning etc in order tutor accordingly.
I teach in a patient and practical manner. Starting with the basics of deconstructing industry standard work and the processes of recreating them to the same standard. Once the basics of modelling high and low poly models are established. We can begin the process of importing these new models into games engines and applying textures.
The best way to learn is to practice!!! Practice, Practice, Practice!!! Lessons will consist of learning chords, strumming techniques and songs. Students can request to learn songs they like and we can progress towards that song.
I prefer using examples and explanations for kids to understand things more easily. Maths for children might get challenging and I believe if the basis is not strong or average enough there future might be at stake since mathematics plays a very important role from nursery to primary. It is a critical and crucial subject and needs to be taught well and tested well to assure students understand it.
You might be a complete beginner not knowing a single thing about drawing or art in general or you might've drawn a couple of stick men and hearts at the back of your notebook in your life, but you want to improve and to actually know what you're doing. That's where I come in.
I am an English graduate offering lessons for students up to university level. My lesson stucture will vary based off of what or how the students respond best to; my methods of instruction will be flexible, solely depending upon the student.
