About Priyom
I have recently defended my PhD thesis and relocated to London. I have done my research in plant microbiology. I have been teaching all grades at various periods (class 8 - BSc/MSc in Plant science/Plant biotechnology) since my Bachelors (Hons in Botany), Masters (Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology) and PhD.

I strongly believe that teaching is the noblest profession that one can take up. It is a great honor to be contributing to the betterment of society through education. However, this honor comes with a great responsibility as well. I do not believe in imposing my knowledge on my students. I want them to know the discipline inside out and then decide for themselves if they want to continue in a particular field or not. My job as a teacher is to present facts in the most comprehensible manner to my students and make it as enjoyable as possible. The idea is to give them the impression that we are a team trying to learn something new every day. I try to be a part of them so that they can relate to me and talk freely about their questions or concerns.
