About Russell
Debugging is often mistaken for a technical failure when it is actually a design flaw. Fact, 90 percent of coding errors stem from poor structural planning.
Before we start, I provide a diagnostic coding assessment to calibrate our trajectory. This helps me frame our sessions around your specific technical hurdles. We tackle object oriented programming as a set of spatial relationships.

Sitting at my drafting table in London, I realised that architecture is simply complex logic rendered in physical space. This realisation led me from my BA at Cambridge to the Bartlett for a Master of Architecture. During 13 years in a major practice, I translated structural constraints into readable scripts.
My colleagues often remarked on my obsession with elegant syntax. I now guide hobbyists, teens, and working professionals through the thicket of software development. Intermediate learners and struggling students find my approach grounded in reality. CLEAN CODE practices are the foundation of my teaching philosophy.
I treat software logic like a blueprint for a sustainable skyscraper. You will find my methods emphasise clarity over cleverness. I aim to demystify the machine.
