About Jennifer
I believe in bringing learning to life through hands on, multi sensory learning tools. Each lesson will help build confidence and a love and deep understanding of the subject. I am an early elementary educator (K-3rd) deeply invested in helping students become the readers and mathematicians that they are.

My lessons are designed for students in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade. Typically, I will spend approximately 10 minutes reviewing skills we have worked on previously (for example letter sounds for kindergarteners, blends, digraphs, number fluency/recognition, etc) before diving into a new skill. Then we will practice the skill together and then I have them practice with me. We will play learning games, use body movement and/or songs to help them master skills. I am committed to support the social emotional wellness of students in addition to their academic learning. For older elementary students I love to learn about their hobbies and interests and then connect them to the skills we are working on.
