About Maral

My name is Maral. I was born in Iran. My major is Persian literature, and I got my PhD from Tabriz University in Iran. I spent many years teaching in university, school, and online. I try to find the best way to teach for each student according to his/her level and personality. I have experience, especially for IB diploma. I teach in a balanced way with good plans by choosing various samples of poems and stories. In my opinion, Persian literature is a very colorful world, and when you start to learn it and become familiar with unique poems from Saadi and Hafez and reading stories, you can enter a very peaceful and special world.

About the lesson

I am a native speaker in Persian with a PhD degree. I worked with different students for years and helped them for IB diploma, especially in oral exam and papers. I can help my students to improve their level and reach a high level. Besides, I am eager and have experience to work with people who want to learn Persian or read beautiful poems and stories in Persian literature. According to my major, I can choose the best poems and stories from literature to work with my students based on their request and desire. I think Persian literature is like an ocean, beautiful and deep, so I help my students enjoy swimming in it.

Maral has been one of the best IB teachers of all time in Persian literature as she taught me the full course pretty much in a very short period of time and helped me learn lots of things about the types of questions that I was faced in my exam. It is very hard to find IB Persian A tutors and I’m glad I found her and was able to learn all the necessities needed. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gholami is a brilliant and very kind teacher. During the time that I studied Persian literature with her, I learned so many things. Her high skill and understanding of poems and literary works greatly helped me to comprehend all the materials I had to study. She also covered all the essential syllabus in a short time, as I started the course with a six-month delay.

In the end, I strongly suggest taking a course with Dr. Gholami if you want to study Persian literature.

I have had my Persian Literature classes with Maral, and it was an amazing experience, to connect to an experienced patient teacher especially online, and trust her with her skills. As I was doing an IB Diploma, it was hard to handle the exams and make a good structure, but she made it much easier and helped me make a good structure, find amazing sources, and get a good grade on my exams. I would personally recommend her to anyone, who is looking for a trustworthy teacher who would teach by heart and help as much as she can, I am still in contact with this teacher and had an amazing year experience.
