About Emily
Throughout my school experiences thus far, I have been a year ahead in math and received straight A's in all elementary/middle school math classes. I have a great "number sense," with algebra-related areas being my strong suit. Additionally, I have experience as a Kindergarten Teacher Intern. This has provided me with firsthand knowledge of how to engage and effectively teach to young audiences. As for middle school and freshmen math, I have a brother going into eighth grade who I help out with math frequently so I know how to explain things at a more mature level as well.

Once selected as your tutor, I will create warm-ups, practice problems, and potentially challenge questions as your child gets the hang of it. This will include word problems when appropriate. I will share my screen over zoom, so your child only needs notebook paper and a pencil, or a whiteboard and marker if that's easier. Schedule-wise, sessions can be as long as you would like to arrange them to be. I have availability most every day so I'm pretty flexible if you have a lot going on.
