About Johnnie
I'm a healthcare social work professional, with a Health Science degree, and more than 15 years of experience working across both public and private healthcare sectors. My professional background includes extensive experience in long-term care, developmental disabilities, care coordination, and healthcare services, along with a strong understanding of the social factors that influence health and well-being.
My experience with social determinants of health, and the social impacts on healthcare, has given me a unique perspective of the barriers and challenges, individuals and families face when navigating healthcare systems. I understand the importance of looking beyond a diagnosis, while considering the person as a whole; including access to healthcare, housing, financial stability, natural supports, and community resources.
I provide healthcare tutoring, paper editing, and proofreading for students in the Health Science, healthcare, social work, and other related programs. I can help with grammar, organization, clarity, APA formatting, professional tone, healthcare terminology, and developing strong, logical academic writing.
