About Hannah
I am a young professional based in Montreal, Quebec with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism (minor in Human Rights Studies), a Quebec college diploma (DEC) in Liberal Arts, and over half a decade's worth of work experience in communications and journalism jobs that require advanced reading and writing comprehension skills.
Besides my professional skillset, I enjoy hobbies such as knitting, reading, writing (yes, even for fun!), traveling, and video games. I have a particular interest in Greek, Roman and Egyptian mythology as well.

My methodology: I believe that the most crucial way to learn and engage with difficult content is to digest it section by section and find ways to relate to it. Relatability is key; once we recognize ideas and can form comparisons, comprehension becomes easy.
My demographic consists of: Anyone struggling with English reading or writing comprehension, from understanding and responding to advanced English literature; to essay-writing; to grammar and punctuation; to prose and poetry, and beyond.
What sets me apart from other tutors: as a member of Gen Z myself, I like to think modern problems require modern solutions—I'm a huge fan of creating fun and relatable ways to help learn and engage with content, whether that be through pop culture references or finding other ways to make light of the subjects at hand. It may be considered unconventional to some, but as I always say: "if it works, it works!"
