About Tyrean
I have worked in both secondary and primary schools so I am confident in the curriculum being taught and how it is assessed. I have been the tutor for a few A-level students and have helped them achieved the results they aimed for. I often volunteer with an organisation called Bookmark where I help children improve their reading and literacy skills. I have volunteered abroad as a volunteer teacher in Sri Lanka. Lastly I mentor children in my local community, often helping them improve on their literary skills.

I make my classes fun and engaging while providing an environment that is relaxed (but can be structured if that’s what you desire). My lessons come with a chance to meet my dog, Peanut! She is a therapy dog in training and loves to provide some calm to my lessons. I make it my aim to cater my teaching to the students needs, that way we can get effective results. I try to relate what we are learning to students interests to keep engagement. By teaching in this way I feel that it instils confidence in my students and they leave the lesson feeling as if they have learnt and accomplished something.
