Hello! I'm a 21 year old English graduate from the University of Bristol. I'm passionate about learning and teaching and have achieved consistently strong exam results across a range of subjects. I currently work at the Everyman Cinema Barnet and tutor in my free time.
At A Level I studied Pre-U English (a slightly more advanced qualification than the typical A-level), History, and Politics and French, achieving an A* and 3As. I also took an AS in Critical Thinking and achieved an A.
At GCSE I studied Science, Maths, English (Language and Lit), History, Politics, French and Geography, and achieved 8A*s and 1A.
I'm particularly passionate about English Language and Literature, and am currently in the process of writing my first novel. However, I'd be eager to help in any subject of your choice in which I have previous exam experience.
I love teaching, and have previously taught kids of all ages at a school in Zambia. I've helped tutor friends and my younger brother and see myself as an open minded, easygoing and helpful teacher. In my spare time I like to read, write and play the guitar. I also have an interest in sustainable development and conservation.
I'm passionate about putting everything into ensuring you have the best tuition possible and that we have an open dialogue between us in which you feel comfortable asking any questions and are able to focus on topics and ideas you particularly want to look at. I do a great deal of research and planning before lessons in order to be able to offer the strongest and most practicable tuition possible.
