About Priscilla
Watching a student finally grasp the mechanics of hand independence during a session is why I continue this work. My formal education consists of a piano degree from Berklee. Those 13 years of experience inform how I teach sight transposition and classical repertoire.
Many students request help with pedaling technique or dynamics and expression. Jazz improvisation is another area I address frequently. I also incorporate ear training into our technical drills.
Having 426 students has given me a deep perspective on how different minds process music. The process of improvement continues regardless of your starting point.

Struggling to find the right notes while reading jazz changes is a common hurdle I help students clear. Clunky rhythm disappears.
I provide a short recorded playback of each session so you can review the nuances of your performance at home. This allows for detailed study of your own progress. My Berklee background ensures we tackle advanced sight transposition and jazz improvisation with precision.
