About Harrison
Strings vibrating against the fretboard first drew me into the world of guitar when I was young. I have since coached 387 students through everything from reading tabs to mastering complex scales and modes.
My BA Popular Music from the University of Westminster informs how I teach rhythm guitar and fingerpicking to all levels. I have spent 8 years of experience refining how to explain chord transitions and power chords to beginners and advanced players alike.
Whether you need help with tuning and maintenance or are preparing for grade exam prep, I provide a clear path forward. Songwriting is also a huge part of my focus for students who want to create their own music. I know exactly how to help you read sheet music without the frustration of traditional methods. I am confident that you will play better after our first session.

Do you want to play your favourite songs with total confidence? Reaching the point where your fingers move across the fretboard without thinking is the ultimate aim. I use my 8 years of experience to break down difficult fingerpicking patterns into simple movements. My background in Popular Music ensures that we focus on rhythm and tone from the very first minute.
We look at chord transitions that make your playing sound smooth and professional. I make sure that each student understands the mechanics behind scales and modes so they can write their own music.
We balance technical exercises with songs that you actually want to perform. You will find that my teaching style is warm and very easy to follow. It is always a pleasure to watch a student nail a transition they previously found impossible.
