About Marianne
I am a herbalist, Kundalini Yogini, wordsmith, yoga therapist and energy healer. I have brought my years of practice and experience together to create my business, Heart of Gaia. Both my herbalism practices and yogic practices are based in the connecting of the inner self/higher self/over soul/true self to the Earth beneath us (Mama Gaia/Mother Earth) and to the Divine above us (Spirit/God/Universe) in order to balance the chakras and heal/restore balance to the body and auric field. In this newly curated class, I am combining the art of herbalism with my passion for feminism and spirituality. This is a deeply beautiful class and it is my intention to re-wild and re-connect women to their true authentic selves, to unleash their wild-woman archetype, to embrace Shakti - the divine feminine energy that is in all things. A powerful and moving practice, may we remember that in these turbulent times, the herbs and plant kin are here to support and love us, we just have to remember they're present and lean on them! Mama Gaia wants to love and nourish all her children, so let it be!

As a herbalist and passionate feminist, it is my great honour to blend two topics I cherish dearly within this Tea-Blending class. You will learn the basic herbs for women's health, from PMS herbs to PCOS, menopause, pregnancy and periods, we will go deep into how women's bodies work and how the nature surrounding us can support us in times of heartache (or womb-ache). You will learn: - What is herbalism? - What is different about women's bodies? - Why are many women often left mystified by their own bodies? - What is the spiritual side of feminism? - Where does herbalism come from? - How can we as women take our power back in society? - Solar and lunar herbs - what's the difference? - Herbal astrology & the influence of Venus for Feminine Herbs! And how herbalism is INNATELY a feminist practice. If you're curious about herbalism, tea making, medicine making and how the world of intersectional feminism combines with the Plant Queendom around us, this is a course for you. Upon signing up for class, you will be sent one herbal tea from my Heart of Gaia Apothecary and a free eBook with 5 methods for nurturing your divine feminine energy. You will also deepen your relationship with the plant kin, with the elements and with yourself as a woman in the Universe!
