About James
Hey everyone! Thank you for taking time to read this! My name is James and I am an enthusiastic tutor/teacher wishing to give any support where possible. I have taught in India, England and Taiwan, gaining useful skills to educate a range of subjects to a variety of learner types. I have a patient, welcoming personality which allows students to grow and develop their learning, whilst giving them confidence to flourish with the topic. I am passionate about giving support and will listen to the student to come up with a plan to benefit them (as well as the parent or guardian). I teach with a student-led (bottom-up) approach, so I will work with what the individual needs help with, whilst sticking to the relevant curriculum. Giving the student an hour session, allows them to remain focussed, whilst efficiently getting the most out of the allocated time. I have 2 years educational experience, providing English support 1-to-1 with students aged between 5-16. Previously tutored students English and Maths as part of a support plan for the school I worked for.
