About Mehak
I’m a motivated and approachable student with consistently strong academic results, and I want to help children boost their confidence and love for Math and Science. I consistently perform well in these subjects and have experience helping classmates understand difficult concepts and prepare for assessments. I enjoy explaining ideas clearly and sharing the study strategies that have helped me succeed, as I know having time for oneself is equally important. Hi ️ I’m Mehak! My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I create a calm and encouraging environment where mistakes are part of the learning process.
I tutor English, Math, and Science for students in Years 2-8. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down concepts step-by-step, using clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to help students truly understand the content rather than memorize it. For English, I help students build confidence in writing, comprehension, and analysis. For Math and Science, I focus on strengthening foundations, problem-solving skills, and exam technique.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and will run on Zoom or Google Meet, with personalized lesson plans and homework given through a personal tutoring folder to monitor progress and provide assistance. Students are also more than welcome to bring in any classwork they are doing, and we can work on that as well ️
