About Malik
I’m an S5 student with a strong interest in STEM and a long-term goal of studying at a top global university. I’m deeply curious about how things work — whether in maths, physics, or chemistry — and I enjoy challenging myself to understand topics at a deeper level. Tutoring is a way for me to share that curiosity while strengthening my own understanding. I’ve learned that explaining ideas to others sharpens my thinking and improves the way I communicate complex concepts clearly. I focus on helping students truly understand the why behind each concept - not just memorise formulae or steps. My lessons build logical thinking, problem-solving, and exam technique in a clear and structured way. I got 6As and 1 B in National 5s and almost got full marks in my Nat 5 Maths exam. I teach National 5 and early Higher Maths, Chemistry, and Physics, adapting each session to the student’s pace and goals. Lessons typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, giving time for deeper explanations and guided practice. My approach is supportive but ambitious — I want students to grow confident, independent, and ready to reach their full potential.
