About Mieke
English, the arts and languages have always been of interest to me. Accelerated by my early love of books, I have always had a desire to share in what I know and love. Having taken subjects in humanities and English writing, I have acquired the necessary skills to teach aspects of both. Additionally, my involvement in acting and public speaking allow me to aid anyone in need of oratory skills

I am a variable teacher who can adapt to each student and their learning style. I link the abstract and virtual to reality and grounded concepts in order to re-frame difficult ideas. I typically work best at around an hour, however I am willing to work for up to half an hour longer. Although I am still finishing high school, I am well practiced in both analytical and creative writing, achieving to a high standard in and beyond school.
