About Dianna
I have been an English teacher for over twenty years. In my career, I have worked with middle school, high school, and college students, most recently teaching high school in a public school in New Jersey. Over the years, I have also worked with students of varying levels--college prep, honors, and students with special needs. I have worked as an inclusion teacher and have extensive experience working with students with IEPs and 504s.
My students tell me I am friendly, warm, funny, and patient. I like to think they're right :)

I am a patient, skilled communicator with over twenty years of experience in both the classroom and the tutoring space. I will meet you where you are and customize your lessons accordingly. For example, I can work with you on a task or assignment that you bring to our session. If you do not bring anything to our lesson, I will ask you to complete a writing piece for me. From there, I will review your writing and make a plan based on what you need, whether that means sentence structure, organization, word choice, grammar, or anything else I noticed.
My lessons will include focused skill-based exercises, modeling, and plenty of time to practice.
We will work together so you can make progress!
I will work with middle school students, high schoolers, college students, and adult learners.
