About Sarah
Hi! I’m a student teacher currently teaching in a high school history classroom, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed both academically and confidently. Working in a real classroom has given me firsthand experience with curriculum standards, assignments, and the expectations students face every day. I tutor middle and high school history, including AP-level courses, and I also support middle school math, reading, writing, and science. I help students with assignments, essays, DBQs, test preparation, and AP exam prep, breaking material down into clear, manageable steps that make learning less stressful and more effective. My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and personalized. I focus not just on getting the right answers, but on helping students understand why things work, build strong study habits, and gain confidence in their abilities. I offer flexible scheduling and online lessons, and I’m happy to tailor sessions to meet each student’s individual needs and goals.
