About Alice
I am a high school junior who enjoys helping younger students feel more confident in their schoolwork. I have strong grades in English, math, and social studies, and I work well with students who feel nervous or unsure. I explain things in a calm and simple way, and I always try to make learning feel less stressful. I take my tutoring seriously, and I want students to feel safe asking questions and proud of the progress they make.

What sets me apart is that I have taken these classes recently myself, so I remember what helps and what does not. I am patient, friendly, and I never make students feel bad for asking questions. I try to explain things in plain language so they can take what they learned and use it in class the next day.
My lessons are for elementary and middle school students, and for high schoolers in grades 9 and 10. I tutor English, reading comprehension, writing skills, social studies, and math up to Algebra 1. I enjoy helping students who feel nervous or unsure, because I understand how much confidence can change a whole class experience.
