About Lauren
Hello! My name is Lauren, a high school senior offering tutoring in English. I have a passion for literature, and I am very excited to share my knowledge with others.
Here are a few of my qualifications:
- Received a 5 on the AP English Language and Composition exam
- Received a 740/800 on the English portion of the SAT
- President of the National English Honor Society at my school
- Published a work of creative writing with Young Writers.
When I am available:

- As your tutor, I will review and explain concepts, go over practice problems, and place emphasis on your areas of struggle.
- My teaching is based on the specific needs of the student. Students can start by asking me for help with a concept, and we will review it. I will then revisit said concept to ensure the student has retained what they have learned.
- A lot of time will be spent working on practice problems, as I think this is the best way for students to become more confident in what they have learned.
- As a high school senior, I can offer relatability to students.

Rhetoric: Grades 6-12
Test prep (AP English Language and Composition exam): Grade 11
