About Hyun
I am excited to offer my services as an SAT Math Tutor, combining my academic success and hands-on experience to help students excel. As a high school senior in New York with a 4.1 weighted GPA and an IB Diploma candidate, I have a strong foundation in academics. Having taken the SAT twice, I scored a perfect 800 in Math both times, with a highest overall score of 1510. What sets me apart is my journey to mastery. I began SAT preparation with scores in the 600–700 range in Math, giving me a unique ability to empathize with students aiming to improve their scores. Currently, I am tutoring five students at my school, one of whom recently improved their Math score from 700 to an impressive 780 under my guidance. This tangible success demonstrates the effectiveness of my methods.
