My name is Treisy Garcia, I'm a current high school student, I'm a female, I have above average grades, getting honors for years in a row, I've studied American Sign Language for a long time. As a tutor I always make sure that my students are fully understating of what is being taught to them by me, I always go over things a few times to make sure everybody understands, I do this again by performing a refresher at the start of the next lesson. I start a lesson by doing an introduction about what will be taught that day, than I do a few exersices that will help pratice the new knowledge and then leave resources that my students can use to practice till the next lesson. As a tutor I always make sure to support my students if they have any questions, treat them all equally with respect, make them feel comfortable and welcomed. These lessons of mine are beginner friendly for any age group!
