About Laika
I attended a private school in the Philippines for 10 years, where the focus was on collaboration, communication, and presentation skills. I am consistently an honor student and achieved a 4.0 GPA during my first year of high school. Currently, I am taking accelerated math (Algebra 2/Pre-calculus) and AP Government. I plan to major in Nursing in college and continue my studies in Nursing Anesthesiology.

My name is Laika, and I'm a high school student. I'm offering tutoring services in Tagalog, Science, and Math for students up to the 11th-grade level. l am a collaborative and enthusiastic individual who enjoys helping others learn. I have three years of experience tutoring middle school and high school students at my level through a community service program, which, unfortunately, is no longer available. Perfect! Laika has all of the key qualities which make up the best teacher. She is extremely smart, very hard-working, detail-oriented, patient, and persistent about making sure the student has a complete and full understanding of the material. I truly feel that my son benefits a great deal from each and every lesson with Laika. We’ve had many individual tutors and have participated in many smaller study groups to help the kids in our family excel, and I can honestly say that Laika is one of the best tutors we have ever had. 5+ stars! Highly recommend!
