I am a school student studying in grade 12, tutoring primary school students since three years. I have always been passionate about teaching young children and bring out the best out of them.

One can excel in a particular field, be it study or any such other thing, only if he/she is willing to pursue in that field, not because of any external pressure or superficial factors but from within, that willingness should come from within. As primary school kids are yet to understand and realize the importance of studying, they hardly sit with their book to study on their own will. Everything seems interesting to them except studying. So to make them willingly study, I have been trying to make studying interesting for them. For this purpose, I use flashcards, mind chart, using different coloured highlighter and markers and pen, encourage them to create a mind map of their own. This method has been working successfully on the children I currently teach. I believe that if a child understands the lesson, if he/she finds the lesson to be interesting then it becomes easy for them to grasp and remember the materials.
