About Lorenzo
I teach Portuguese for beginners and foreigners, private or groups. I also teach technical classes and revise scientific texts for researchers, thanks to my scientist background (see my CV). Classes always depend on the level, tastes, character and expectations and preferences of the client. I really like to adapt them to the person (s) I work with. We will define objectives and modalities together. Based on my experience, this method usually gives the best results. From time to time, we may arrange to meet together to watch movies, sing songs, cook and learn Portuguese recipes! ;) Also, whenever possible, we will use good humor to learn better, in a good mood :) (YouTube video is an example of a humorous presentation at a biology conference in Italy: D)

Italian, super fluent in Portuguese. I like to give relaxed classes, using humor so that the student learns with pleasure! I also work with researchers and review scientific texts - I have a degree in Science (Ecology), with a doctorate and five years post-doctorate.

My wife Giuliana gave me Italian classes with Lorenzo as a gift, and she picked a winner! On the one hand, he's very professional and patient and of course super knowledgeable about Italian language, culture, and history. On the other, he's just an all-around interesting guy with so many stories to tell and a fantastic attitude.
