About Andre
I'm a High Schooler who's spent way to much of my life on math. I've been competing and placing since 6th grade, from Mu Alpha Theta divisions to Famat to Amc. I've placed top 15 in the region and top 50 in the state a few times.
Other than math I've always had an interest in just learning more about things, and that's what lead me to realize that you really can't learn without the why.

- I like to teach the reasoning why things happen in Math, so to be able to derive the formulas you use yourself, instead of using formulas without knowing why.
- Typically I'd go through a general idea on the subject and dig deeper into it with some practice problems. Then have the student explain to me the why behind it.
- These lessons are for any level of math before Algebra 2, the difficulty of the tutorship will be adjusted based off the student.

Perfect! Helped me so much, even after I didn’t get a problem and kept forgetting the formula he kept telling me and testing me. When in an answer I figured it out, he added something onto it to see if I learned just to test me! 10/10

He helped me understand things I didn’t quite get, and he’s cool
I know André from my schools math club. While he may not be first place there he’s always top 3/4 in his class. And he’s helped me before a lot in math. I like his teaching method as well. Idk just recommend him.
He is a smart student and is extremely passionate about the topics he loves. He has helped me when I struggle with math and I get it pretty quickly. He fun to talk to and always tries to help
Andre is a trustworthy teacher because he extremely sufficient and advanced in algebra2, algebra 1, and all lower level math. He is part of the math club and has the knowledge, and social skills to teach to students on a personal level. I believe he will go in depth in his subjects and teach students better than anyone.
