About Raghav
I am a 5th year medical student at University College London, and have intercalated with an iBSc in Medical Oncology prior to this in which I graduated with First Class honours. I’ve been tutoring since 2018 and have over 500 hours of experience.

I spend a couple of hours preparing for each lesson, ensuring there is a great balance between giving new information, interactive diagrams and answering exam questions. Everything I prepare revolves around the student - I'll ask them at the end of each lesson what they’d like to learn in the following lesson, and I'll prepare according to that! During IB Biology lessons I also integrate questions from a question-bank which I have spent 100s of hours developing through past papers and extensive research to ensure that students have the strongest possible understanding of the types of questions that they will have to tackle, as well as how to perfectly answer them to get those top marks according to the IB criterion. GCSE lessons also take a similar approach, using past questions to consolidate knowledge at the end of a lesson. We keep revisiting previous topics so that they're not forgotten and really ensure that students enjoy each lesson - studying doesn't have to be a chore, and the more they enjoy it the easier they’ll find it!
