To put it briefly, it is essential that we recognize the drawbacks of the more evolved methods of teaching and learn to incorporate what worked well with conventional methods in what we do today.
I believe excellence is not something that necessarily has to be acquired from sources externally from the classroom. Every child has the potential to excel and we have to work towards methods that help the student exercise in channelizing that excellence within him/her.
