About JR
I have been working in the creative industries for over 30 years. In that time I have worked as a freelancer, in house with large brands, as a business owner, and as an educator. I have taught tens of thousands of students how to engage with many different technologies both digital and practical, and my students have gone on to be accomplished and awarded contributors to their craft. I hold degrees in industrial product design, interactive multimedia, and a master’s degree in graphic design.

I offer personalised plans for individual learners, focusing on industry and university level skills. A typical session will start with a conversation about your needs, followed with a plan of action identifying areas to focus on. Practical instruction is just that, practical and hands on. I will guide you through each step and recap learned information. The end of the session will always include practice work for you to do in your own time and may include downloadable guides and sample projects. I will always return to industry standards and point out where appropriate how best to impress in the workplace while advocating for you as a creative worker.
