About Kristin
My mom has worked in teaching and psychology for over 15 years it is her passion. She has since given me the gift of teaching, I have been surrounded by lesson plans and psychology my whole life. Not only this but I volunteered at the gifted teaching academy she worked at. I know both spanish and english making it more easier for me to communicate with those that are learning english fo the first time.

Ilike to evaluate the student, not by a written test but by an oral one. After speaking with the parent I will evaluate what the kids best approach to learning is based on their weakness and strenghts.
A typical lesson plan for a child learning how to read might inlcude:
-Phonetic awarness practice or exercises
-Vocbulary building (with either songs, stories, etc)
-Incorporating meaning to the stories.
-practice picturing the story to create better comprehension.
