About Samantha
Hi! I'm a classically trained musician and qualified teacher with 20 years of experience teaching music in UK secondary schools, and I'm now extending my lessons online.
I play violin and piano to a high level and have performed professionally including for a Netflix orchestral event. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up your first instrument, a student preparing for grades, or an adult who always wanted to play properly, I'll create lessons that are genuinely enjoyable and built around YOUR goals.
My approach is patient, structured, and encouraging — I've taught everyone from nervous Year 7s to adults returning to music after years away. I know exactly how to make difficult concepts click.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my ad. After 16years as a classroom teacher I have taught and experienced many different methodologies and pedagogy in order to get the very best out of my individual students. Each journey will be tailored to the student with outcomes discussed at the start and then at different points along the way in order to gauge progress.
Lessons will be 30minutes, 45minutes or an hour in length depending on the expectation of the client.
I am happy to teach students all ages.
