Methodology

My students gain qualifications but, more importantly, they enjoy a lifelong interest and curiosity in their subjects.

Experience

I have an MA in history from St Andrews University and postgraduate diplomas in law, journalism and education. I've been a journalist in Europe and the Far East and a teacher in the UK, working with sixth form students and undergraduates.
