I graduated from the University of Warwick last year with a First Class Honours Degree in History and Politics.
I am enthusiastic and I believe in making history fun, ensuring that pupils are aware that the subject is about so much more than just being able to memorise a range of key dates and facts. Instead, I want to make them aware that history is about change and continuity, and its legacy has shaped the society we live in today.
I am new to the world of Tutoring, but I have recently worked as a Teaching Assistant in a preparatory school in London, helping pupils across the curriculum in their final year as they prepared for their 7+ exams for entrance into their next school. The cohort was largely successful, receiving offers from some of London's top schools including North London Collegiate, Haberdashers' and St Paul's. I learnt a lot from other teachers during this experience, and I am thus confident in my ability to get the best out of pupils. Furthermore, I will be commencing Secondary History training in July.
