About Robert
I am Chinese-Canadian presently completing a PhD in history, but presently on hiatus due to aninjury I suffered while studying in Germany. I returned home in Canada where I am planning to place my academic knowledge to good use while I am recovering from my injury here.

I am able to speak French, German, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Czech, Russian and Finnish to various levels. Having been born in China, Mandarin Chinese was my first language, and then I emigrated to Canada as a child and learned English/French in Canada, went to university in Germany and the Czech Republic.
I have great experience with English literature, having read most of Shakespeare/most great books of English literature i.e. Paradise Lost, Gulliver's Travels, etc.
I am on hiatusfrom university in Germany and just returned to Canada. I have tutored English at the university level in Germany.
