About Ellen
I am from Co. Meath in Ireland and completed my undergraduate degree in History and Sociology at University College Dublin. I am now studying for a Master's degree in Archives, Records and Information Management at the University of Glasgow.
I understand how much easier it can be to learn when you have someone who is patient, understanding and willing to explain things in a way that works for you. I will always try to be that person for my students. We will work together to understand your goals and tailor lessons to help you reach them, while making sure you feel comfortable, supported and confident along the way.

I like to keep my lessons relaxed and friendly, while focusing on what the student needs most help with. I can help with understanding topics, preparing for exams, essay writing and improving confidence. Lessons will usually be around one hour and are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students. I have a degree in History and am starting a Master’s degree, so I have plenty of experience with academic writing, research and essay work.
