On paper I may not seem that impressive with only one BA in History and no teaching qualification, but I bring a true and enduring passion for this subject and I am determined to share its benefits with you.

I prefer to use a conversational style when teaching; fielding any questions from the student and asking my own to encourage them to generate their own ideas and deductions. History is more than just famous people and dates; I want students to see there is so much more to learn if only we dig a bit deeper than schools can in the time allowed.
Time is precious so I want to keep lessons between 30-60 minutes long. I am happy to entertain the idea of longer lessons should there be demand for it.
My qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in History and an A-level in Classics. Beyond that is years of travel and independent study in my own time. My hope is that these vast reserves of trivia will coalesce into an enriching experience for you.
