About Dominic

I am a passionate and driven person, I love history and especially Ancient History. I love to talk and discuss it but above all I love to teach it to people who want to learn about it.
Professionally I work in the pharmaceutical industry, but my education is entirely Humanities based. I am working currently to complete a PhD in the cognitive sphere of Ancient History, and wish to help others gain traction in the field of history.

About the lesson

-Able to help with general understanding of History, what is expected at all levels and how to approach coursework and exams.
- Past experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students in Manchester where I gained my BA in History.
- Ancient Greek Language can be included in lessons.
- Student-centred learning - every session will be adapted to a specific goal of yours, taking into account your syllabus and interests. This can include breaking down complex historical events, reviewing source analysis, planning essays and exam prep.

Because I have recently navigated the university system myself, I know exactly what examiners and professors are looking for and how to help you achieve it.

First lesson free - happy to use this first lesson to discuss needs and knowledge gaps, and create a plan of action for future lessons.
