About Archie
I hold a BA and an MA in History (Distinction), and I’m beginning my PhD this September. My academic work has trained me to analyse complex information, communicate clearly, and support others in developing strong writing and critical‑thinking skills.
I take a calm, structured approach to tutoring, breaking topics into manageable steps and adapting each session to the student’s needs. Whether it’s improving essays, understanding historical themes, or building confidence in English skills, I focus on clarity, steady progress, and practical techniques students can use independently.

I teach by helping students develop strong analytical and writing skills. I use model answers, step‑by‑step planning, and clear feedback to show how to structure arguments and improve clarity. Lessons are paced to suit the student, with space for questions and reflection.
I have a distinction master's degree in History and am starting a PhD in History in September.
Lessons are an hour, but I can be flexible to cater to students
