About Shivaji
Having passed B A (Hons) in history from MS University I added M A and B Ed. in the same subject. My teaching journey commenced when I started with social studies at school level. Soon I landed in a reputed Public School of western India, to teach young learners the history of their country and a little bit of World history. This was the Rajkumar College, at Rajkot which was originally setup to educate only the princes of Western India and it also happened to be my place of schooling. After leaving RKC I got an opportunity to join The Galaxy School, Rajkot. Here to my delight I was put in charge of history learners preparing for Cambridge IGCSE and IB school. Guiding learners in International board history subject, was an experience which can never be forgotten. I gained an experience of more than a decade.

Inquiry method is best suited for online lessons. Lecture/story telling method can be helpful in adding historical facts and events.These methods can be very effective if supported by PPT/ You tube or Video presentations which create audio-visual historical teaching aids on screen. Another is Project method where a students gets a chance for research into history. In IB syllabus a topic on historical investigation based on primary and secondary sources is compulsory.
I have taught at school level, Gujarat Board and CBSE,social science syllabuses.I also have more than a decade of teaching experience handling Cambridge IGCSE and IB history.
Moreover,I gave lectures to students preparing for UPSC and GPSC, competitive examinations for 14 years/
