My teaching style is informal, it's based upon 5 years within a youth movement.
It utilises learning through participation, and using the student to try to understand rather than to judge it.
My lesson structures are in a simple form of: starter; method; and conclusion.
The starter will usually be either a roleplay or game that loosely links to the method whereby I'll reveal the majority of the information, then in the concluding phases I will have them challenge and regurgitate in order to maximise their understanding of events. By using the information through different activities and challenges, their ability to recall it improves.
