About Tabitha
I am a second year student of History at the university of Lincoln where i achieved a first class in my first year and expect to continue a strong grade set. I have worked with children for a number of years but am looking to apply my growing skill set to aiding older students who intend on developing their exam and essay skills for History. My university education allows me to tutor students in techniques which are not only relevant for exams but will assist them in University whether they study history or another of the social sciences or Humanities subjects.

My teaching method is tailored to the student whom i am tutoring, and the requirement which they have. For a student looking to develop exam technique i will guide them through a series of logical techniques which will help them approach exams calmly and confidently. For those seeking to develop essay writing technique i will again guide them and discuss with them a series of methods which can be applied when writing an essay in order to identify which method suits them, thus allowing their grades to develop. At every stage i will consult with the student to identify which methods they find work well and which they are less keen on. I am here to guide the student in developing their skills rather than tell them what the right answer is. In history there are few 'correct' answers.
