About Sue
I love learning, and sharing this with others. I have advanced degrees in sociology and communications, and qualifications university teaching and learning. I have taught undergraduate and postgraduate modules in sociology, media studies, and communications, with a particular focus on qualitative and textual/visual research both online and out in the field.
I have experience assessing A-level sociology exams, and understand what is required to achieve top grades.
I am excited by research and writing about the social world around us, and understanding systems and structures that impact us on personal and global scales. I also enthusiastically pick apart pop culture and all forms of communication to see how meaning is made, and its effects.
