About Elio
I have an honors degree in biology from Harvard (class of 2025) and have tutored both formally and informally since high school. I have a deep love and passion for the outdoors and all things related to biology but specifically things in the natural world. (ask me about my extensive plant collection) I want students to know that it is perfectly normal to struggle with certain concepts, and that there is no shame in asking for help!

I am an ivy league biologist who is used to thinking about learning in different ways. I would often tutor my peers in subjects they didn't understand by breaking things down into simpler concepts.
A typical lesson plan would be to start with questions a student has about what they are learning in school, break it down and expand on the knowledge with real world applications and questions, and then revisiting the original point of confusion.
I am all about collaborative learning and nurturing a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world. I want my students to be just as excited about science as I am!
