About Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jenn!
I graduated with honors in Fine Arts, with an emphasis on Art History and education, and Studio Art. I’ve been painting landscapes in oil for nearly 25 years, and reading art history for about 30.
My aunt lived in France when I was a child, and every time she visited a museum she’d send something home to me — a print of a painting she’d stood in front of, or a history book from the gift shop. Those little packages are the reason I fell in big love with looking at art, studying it, and making it.
I’d love to share some of that with you!

A) Art Appreciation covers the fundamentals every other subject builds on.
B) Painting Appreciation covers paint types and where a painting actually begins & ends.
C) Art History moves through the eras and styles with the artists who defined them and the years they were working.
*We also make room for what art means to the cultures that made it, and why people create!

Details
For students 18 and over, sessions take place in a quiet café or library. I don’t tutor students over 18 in private homes or dorms, or my own home.
For students under 18, home is okay, and a parent or guardian must be present for the entire session.
