About Ruby
I have a background in University-level French. I studied abroad in France, speak fluent French and have been employed for over a year by my university's tutoring center where I tutor A1 (absolute beginner) to B2 (advanced intermediate) level French, Psychological Statistics, and general Writing. I have also worked with C1 (advanced proficient) French students.

My students are my passion and I see extreme value in meeting you where you are in your learning journey through direct and nurturing dialogue and an exploration of individual skillsets. I employ research-based tutoring strategies guided by the individual needs of the learner. First, I offer suggestions and resources for potential areas of improvement based on how I assess your abilities, but I ultimately want you to be the guide of your learning experience. You have the option of starting with a lesson plan curated by me, or delving right into a specific topic or area for improvement.
With a broad knowledge of all of my tutoring subjects, I can provide assistance with any range of educational tasks to help you meet your learning goals. Whether it be reviewing for a test, writing a paper or report, or practicing your grammar before going abroad, I am here with you to help you on your journey.
I always welcome feedback and suggestions from my students and am constantly looking for ways to improve my tutoring methodologies so I can know how best to help you learn.
