About Maha
Currently, I am pursuing an undergraduate degree in Honours BSc. biomedical sciences with a neuroscience option in Ottawa. I love teaching, and volunteer with Let's Talk Science, an organization dedicated to providing students with incredible learning opportunities in STEM. I am also a mentor for high school students to help with any concerns they might have regarding study plans, extracurriculars, course selection, and post-secondary applications.
I am incredibly passionate about all things STEM. I find that learning through compassion, patience, and while having fun, is far more effective than just reading concepts in a textbook.

Sciences can seem intimidating at times, which is why it is so important to know what works for you as a student. I understand how difficult it can be when you're struggling to grasp a concept and your teacher tells you to "read the textbook" instead of trying a different approach. Everyone learns differently, and sometimes all you need is a little extra help in ways that help YOU as a learner. This is exactly what I do! Perfect! Friendly & patient . Explains concepts clearly .
Perfect! Maha is a wonderful tutor, very approachable and open, and she will readily share her own resources with you so that you can understand fully. I only had a few very superficial questions and even though I felt quite ridiculous not understanding/knowing it, she made me feel very at ease right away and explained everything in a way that 'unstuck' my brain from its faulty line of reasoning. Thank you so much Maha!
