About Audrey
I’m a psychology student at Howard University on the pre-med track, planning to become a neuropsychiatrist. I enjoy helping students gain confidence and succeed academically by tutoring middle school English, reading, and history while building strong study habits and critical thinking skills.

My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and actively participate so they truly understand the material rather than just memorizing it.
A typical session starts with reviewing previous material and identifying any areas of confusion. We then work through new concepts together using examples, practice questions, and discussion, followed by a short recap to reinforce what was learned.
As a psychology student at Howard University, I understand how people learn and retain information. I also have mentoring experience, so I focus on building students’ confidence and creating a supportive learning environment.
My lessons are primarily for middle school students who need help with English, reading, and history, as well as students who want to improve their study skills and academic confidence.
