About Nolan
PROMOTING LEARNING THROUGH COMMUNICATION It's easy to get left behind in a class of thirty students. It's even easier when the teacher doesn't adequately address your needs. I can change that. Hey, I'm Nolan. I graduated from Gosford High in 2024 with a 95.05 ATAR. During my course of study, I learned above all that effective communication in a welcoming environment was the best way to build your knowledge of key concepts to excel in exams. Most importantly, my teaching will build up to required concepts like bricks to buildings. The key to effective learning is ensuring that the student is able to apply their knowledge to new scenarios. This means: - going through introductory concepts before moving to ones that use them as a base - reiterating important concepts to improve reasoning - frequent question use to reinforce raw knowledge

LESSON DELIVERY I have all the technology that will suit an online learning environment, including a digital whiteboard and a reference workbook with structured notes, as well as a webcam so that the students can interact with the lesson more effectively. My methodology will ensure students are able to engage in their lessons almost identically to face-to-face tutoring. I will provide you with structured lessons each week that meticulously address each dot-point in the syllabus, homework based on a mix of past-HSC, past paper, and independently made questions interspersed throughout lessons to hone your understanding. Lessons will be on a weekly basis for two hours so as to adequately teach students the coursework, at an affordable price. Pricing can be found in "Details" section. First lessons are free as always.
