I am passionate about working with young people to help them achieve their academic goals. I enjoy preparing engaging content and making learning relevant to students. My strong academic background and global experience allows me to create unique learning experiences for each of my students. I foster positive and supportive environments where questions are encouraged, mistakes are viewed as opportunities and progress is always celebrated. I am also an outdoor enthusiast with hobbies including tennis, triathlon, hiking and camping. I love to cook and enjoy taking my Rhodesian Ridgeback for afternoon walks. As an experienced teacher, I am passionate about helping my students succeed in their learning journeys. I tailor teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles, ensuring lessons are interesting, engaging and fun. I provide visual, auditory and game-based activities, and believe in modelling to help students truly grasp and understand concepts and processes. I have degrees in Humanities, Environmental Management and Education and have taught in South Africa, South Korea and Australia. I have also completed a Level 5 TEFL course to accommodate students in learning English as an additional language. My lessons are 60 minutes in length and can be tailored for age groups across primary and secondary levels.
